    Profile

    On the Profile page, you can view information that your Human Resources (HR) department has collected and stored about you. You can also use this page to request changes to your information.

    Note

    Note: Some of the data on the Profile page can be hidden from managers based on your organization’s specific setup.

    To view your profile

    Go to My Self Service > Profile.

    The Profile page opens.

    General section

    The General section includes high-level information that HR requires for their records. You are responsible for reviewing and requesting changes to any of the information displayed on the General section.

    Pending Changes section

    The Pending Changes section displays changes to your profile that are awaiting HR approval. This section only appears when there is a pending change.

    Assignments section

    The Assignments section includes the details for the one or more positions that you hold in your organization. In this section, you can view details such as your current position assignment, FTE, next progression date, and pay. The information in this section is view only. If the information in this section is incorrect, contact your HR representative.

    To view additional position information, choose Info Icon.

    Admin and Benefits section

    The Admin and Benefits section includes critical information about employment status, benefit enrollment, and eligibility. The information in this section is view only. If the information in this section is incorrect, contact your HR representative.

    The following table provides a brief description of the subsections in the Admin and Benefits section.

    Section Name Description
    Admin Information Displays your employment details.
    HR Representative Information Displays information about your HR representative.
    Employee Associations Displays the one or more associations to which you belong.
    Benefit Information Displays your benefit provider and benefit information.
    Relatives / Beneficiaries Displays the details regarding your beneficiaries and relatives.

    Assigned Items section

    The Assigned Items section includes information about any company owned items that have been assigned to you such as, key codes, pass cards, and other items.

    The following table provides a brief description of the columns in the Assigned Items section.

    Column Description
    Description Specifies what has been assigned.
    From Date Specifies the date the item was assigned.
    Serial No. Specifies the number that is used to identify the item.
    Assignment Request Date Specifies the date the assignment was requested. Typically, this date is the start date of the position assignment.
    Collection Request Date Specifies the date by which the item is expected to be returned.

    Requesting Changes to Your Profile Information

    Sometimes profile information requires updating, such as when a person moves or has a new phone number or email. You can make changes to the profile information that is included in the General section.

    Note

    Note: Changes are only applied on or after the Effective Date that you specified or after HR has reviewed, and then approved the change.

    To change your profile information

    1. Go to My Self Service > Profile.

      The Profile page opens.

    2. Choose Edit.

      The fields within the General section become editable.

    3. Update or add information to any of the sections.

    4. In the Change Request section, in Effective Date, specify the date on which the changes are to take effect.

    5. If desired, in Comment, specify a comment.

    6. To upload any attachments that are pertinent to the changes, such as a marriage certificate, choose Upload, browse to the desired file, select the file, and then choose Open.

    7. In Description, specify a description of the attachment that is being uploaded.

    8. To send the changes to HR, choose Save.

      A new Pending Changes section appears.

    Cancel a requested profile change

    After you request a change to your information, if required, you can cancel the requested change.

    To cancel a requested profile change

    1. Go to My Self Service > Profile.

      The Profile page opens.

    2. In the Pending Changes section, to delete the changes, choose Delete.

      A confirmation dialog box appears.

    3. To confirm that you want to delete the requested profile change, choose Yes.
