Appraisals
As a manager you are responsible for ensuring that the appraisals for the employees you manage are kept up-to-date and the results recorded. The mySparkrock Appraisals functionality provides the capability for you to determine when an employee’s appraisal is due and to record the results of the appraisal.
For indirect reports, you can use the My Team page to determine whether the managers that report to you are up-to-date with completing their appraisals. You can follow up with managers for whom employee appraisals are overdue.
To view the pending appraisals for your reports
Go to Manager Self Service > Appraisals.
The Appraisals page opens and displays the list of pending appraisals for the individuals who report to you.
For each pending appraisal, you can view the name of the employee and the position that is associated with the review. You can also see the time left to complete the appraisal or when the due date is in the past, the amount of time that the appraisal is overdue. If the appraisal is in progress, you have the options to either Cancel or Complete that particular appraisal.
Note
Note: If the Cancel or Complete buttons do not appear, a required field, such as the Completion Date, has not been entered.
When an appraisal is overdue, the overdue amount displays on a red background with the word Overdue next to the overdue duration.
