Approve Shifts Worked
Shifts must be approved at the end of each pay cycle. Sparkrock 365 uses the approved shift data when processing payroll. If the shift hours or activities are incorrect, a unit supervisor can make the necessary corrections.
After a shift is approved, the shift no longer appears in mySparkrock.
Ideally, employees confirm their shifts before you approve them. Confirmed shifts are indicated on the Approve Shifts Worked page with an icon that appears next to the employee name.

Not all unit supervisors can approve shifts, as this is controlled separately on the employee record for the unit in the Sparkrock 365 setup.
To approve shifts
Go to Scheduling > Approve Shifts Worked.
The Approve Shifts Worked page opens.
Select a unit for the one or more units where you are a designated shift approver.
A list of the shifts that you must review for that unit appears.
In Unit Schedule, specify a unit.
If the displayed period is not the one that you want, to choose a different period, use the left (
) and right (
) arrows.
To view the shifts for an employee, select an employee. Alternatively, to have mySparkrock display all shifts for the pay cycle, choose All Shifts.
Select the checkbox of the shift that you want to approve, and then choose Approve.
