Create a contact from a purchase requisition
When you are adding a vendor to a purchase requisition line, you can create a contact directly from the Vendor List dialog box.
To create a contact from a purchase requisition
Select Finance and Purchasing > Purchase Requisitions.
The Purchase Requisitions page opens.
Select the purchase requisition for which you want to create a contact.
The Purchase Requisition page opens.
On the Purchase Requisition Lines tab, select Add Expense or Add Item.
On the line, select the lookup in the Vendor field.
The Vendor List dialog box opens.
Select New.
The Create New Contact dialog box opens.
Enter values for the applicable fields.
Select OK.
The contact is created.
