Tasks (Manager)
When Human Resources (HR) or payroll assign tasks for a manager to complete, the tasks are automatically added to a manager’s list of tasks. Often these tasks are part of an HR request that requires a manager’s completion for certain steps.
All tasks or incomplete tasks
On the Tasks (Manager) page, you can view all tasks or only incomplete tasks. Completed tasks can be viewed in the All Tasks view. In the All Tasks view, to view whether a task has been completed, hover over the line.
To complete your manager tasks
Go to Manager Self Service > Tasks (Manager).
The Tasks (Manager) page opens and displays by default all your assigned tasks that have an Incomplete Tasks status.
Review the details for the one or more tasks that are assigned to you.
To view additional information on a specific task, in the More Info column for the respective task, select the link.
To view attachments for a specific task, in the Attachment column for the respective task, select the View link.
To indicate that a task is now complete, perform the following steps:
Hover over the line of the task, and then choose Complete.
The Task Completion Confirmation dialog box appears.
For tasks that require an attachment, to search for a file , choose Browse, select the file, and then choose Open.
In Description, specify a description.
Choose Upload.
Choose Yes.
The Tasks (Manager) page refreshes and the task that you indicated is now complete no longer appears as an incomplete task.
